911 Service Interruptions Reported in Multiple States
Affected States Include South Dakota, Texas, Nebraska, and Nevada

Law enforcement agencies in at least four states have reported interruptions to 911 services on Wednesday evening. Authorities in South Dakota, Texas, Nebraska, and Nevada have announced the outages.
A large-scale outage affected residents' ability to call the 911 emergency number in Las Vegas and southern Nevada, as well as parts of Nebraska. The outages were reported on April 17, 2024, at approximately 11:49 PM.
As of Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 10:00 PM, emergency 911 phone service has been restored in most of the areas affected by the outages. However, six cities in four different states were still experiencing issues.

- Las Vegas, Nevada
- Southern Nevada
- Parts of Nebraska
